Role & responsibilities
Responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, BOQs, cost calculations, and commercial/technical tender proposals for EPC projects. The role involves tender analysis, vendor coordination, rate comparison, and timely submission of competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study tender documents, BOQ, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
- Prepare detailed estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and project costing.
- Prepare technical and commercial tender proposals as per client requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from vendors/subcontractors.
- Analyse material, labour, equipment, transportation, and installation costs.
- Prepare rate analysis, costing sheets, and final bid price.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Projects, and Management teams.
- Identify deviations, exclusions, risks, and commercial conditions in tenders.
- Maintain tender records, quotation databases, and cost data for future bids.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and maintain proper documentation.
- Preferred candidate profile
- Good knowledge of EPC projects, estimation, costing, BOQ, and tendering.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience: 2 to 5 years in EPC / Electrical / Infrastructure / Substation / Transmission Line projects.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
