Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sr. Engineer – Machine Maintenance to manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for automated production machines. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum machine uptime, improving operational efficiency, and supporting smooth production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle machine breakdowns and lead shift maintenance activities.
- Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of automated production machines.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, pneumatic, and robotic systems.
- Ensure maximum machine uptime and improve OEE and productivity.
- Handle automation systems for filling, assembly, packaging, labeling, and inspection machines.
- Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation and ensure compliance with ISO 13485 standards.
- Maintain maintenance records, calibration coordination, and machine documentation.
- Lead automation improvement and innovation initiatives.
- Manage spare parts, AMC vendors, and maintenance team performance.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and Validation departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure immediate response and resolution of machine breakdowns during shifts to minimize production downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and take corrective actions for abnormal conditions.
- Ensure maintenance activities follow SOPs, GMP, EHS, and safety requirements.
- Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) and electrical safety procedures.
- Manage machine parameter controls and backup management for PLC/HMI programs.
- Coordinate with stores for timely issuance and replenishment of spare parts and consumables.
- Review daily maintenance KPIs and submit shift performance reports.
- Handle escalation management during major equipment failures and coordinate with OEM/service engineers.
- Monitor energy utilization and implement cost-saving initiatives in maintenance operations.
- Support audit readiness for ISO 13485, internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Maintain discipline, manpower allocation, and shift coordination for uninterrupted production operations.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 8–15 years of experience in automation and machine maintenance.
- Experience in IVD, medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing industry preferred.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
