About the Role:
We are seeking a customer-focused and articulate Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Shiliguri. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience across calls, emails, and chat.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues with patience, empathy, and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics) to ensure smooth resolution of customer queries.
- Provide product and service information to customers and assist with order tracking, returns, and refunds.
- Identify recurring issues and share feedback with the team to improve customer experience.
- Meet daily/weekly service quality and response time targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or Higher Secondary (12th Pass) with relevant experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service, BPO, or front-office roles preferred (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Hindi and Bengali are a plus.
- Good listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using CRM/ticketing tools.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
Compensation:
- Salary range: ₹15,000 - ₹20,000 per month (final offer will depend on the candidate's experience and skills).
