Roles & Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Maintain accurate books of accounts by recording daily financial transactions, vouchers, journals, and ledgers.
- Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Ensure timely and accurate recording of invoices, receipts, payments, journal entries, and other financial transactions.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage vendor payments, monitor customer receivables, follow up on outstanding dues, and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and process invoices, debit notes, credit notes, purchase orders, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Expense Verification: Review employee reimbursements, vendor bills, and supporting documents to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Tax & Statutory Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST, TDS, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and other statutory compliances while ensuring timely adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports to support business decision-making.
- Record Management: Maintain organized financial documentation and ensure proper filing for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, procurement, stores, and other departments to resolve financial queries and ensure smooth financial operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and statutory compliance.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
