Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Executive to manage government tender participation through the GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and nProcure portals. The candidate will be responsible for identifying relevant tenders, preparing and submitting bids, coordinating with internal teams, ensuring compliance with tender requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation. Prior experience in bidding for electrical products is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor GeM, nProcure, and other government e-procurement portals for relevant tenders related to electrical products.
- Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, eligibility criteria, and commercial terms.
- Coordinate with the sales, technical, procurement, finance, and management teams to prepare competitive bids.
- Prepare, review, and submit bids within prescribed deadlines.
- Upload all required documents, certifications, technical data sheets, and compliance documents on tender portals.
- Ensure compliance with tender conditions, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare costing sheets, commercial quotations, and pricing in consultation with management.
- Track bid status, corrigenda, clarifications, and tender amendments.
- Coordinate for Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG), Security Deposits, and other tender-related formalities.
- Maintain records of submitted tenders, bid results, purchase orders, and contracts.
- Follow up with government departments and customers regarding tender status, purchase orders, and documentation.
- Manage GeM catalog updates, product listings, pricing revisions, and stock availability.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports on tender participation, success ratio, and revenue generated.
- Stay updated with government procurement policies and portal guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in government tender management.
- Hands-on experience with GeM and nProcure portals is mandatory.
- Experience in handling tenders for electrical products, industrial electrical items, cables, switchgear, lighting, or related products will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GeM and nProcure bidding processes.
- Understanding of government procurement procedures and tender documentation.
- Excellent documentation and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commercial awareness and negotiation support skills.
Preferred Knowledge
- GeM catalog management and product listing.
- Bid participation, reverse auction, and L1 bidding strategy.
- Vendor registration and compliance documentation.
- EMD, PBG, e-signature, DSC token, and digital document management.
- GST, HSN codes, and basic taxation applicable to government procurement.
- Preparation of technical and commercial bid documents.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
