Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Handle end-to-end recruitment for factory, office, merchandising, production, quality, accounts, admin, and other departments.
- Coordinate with department heads to understand manpower requirements.
- Post job openings, shortlist candidates, schedule interviews, and follow up until joining.
- Maintain a database of candidates and recruitment agencies.
- Ensure timely hiring as per company requirements.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, joining forms, and employee records.
Attendance, Payroll & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance of staff and workers.
- Maintain leave records, late coming, absenteeism, overtime, and shift-related data.
- Coordinate with accounts/payroll team for timely salary processing.
- Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, advances, and other salary inputs before payroll.
- Maintain proper records of salary revisions, incentives, deductions, and advances.
Employee Records & HR Documentation
- Maintain complete employee files with documents such as ID proofs, address proofs, photographs, appointment letters, salary details, and bank details.
- Ensure all joining and exit formalities are completed properly.
- Maintain records of resignations, confirmations, transfers, increments, warnings, and terminations.
- Prepare HR letters, warning letters, experience letters, relieving letters, and other employee-related documents.
Compliance & Statutory Coordination
- Coordinate for statutory compliance related to PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, gratuity, and other applicable labour laws.
- Maintain compliance records and coordinate with consultants wherever required.
- Support factory audits, buyer audits, SEDEX/social compliance audits, and government inspections.
- Ensure proper maintenance of registers, employee records, wage records, and other HR compliance documents.
- Coordinate with security, admin, and factory teams to ensure discipline and compliance on the floor.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and concerns.
- Handle employee grievances in a fair and professional manner.
- Maintain discipline across factory and office premises.
- Issue warning letters or notices wherever required, after discussion with management.
- Coordinate with supervisors and department heads for resolving worker-related issues.
- Promote a positive and respectful work environment.
Performance Management & Appraisals
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and appraisal processes.
- Maintain records of performance feedback, increments, promotions, and role changes.
- Work with management and department heads to identify high-performing employees and areas of improvement.
- Help create clear roles, responsibilities, KRAs, and reporting structures wherever required.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs for staff and workers in coordination with department heads.
- Arrange induction training for new employees.
- Support training related to workplace discipline, safety, compliance, quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain records of trainings conducted.
HR Policies & Administration
- Implement and communicate company HR policies clearly to employees.
- Support management in improving HR systems, processes, and reporting formats.
- Maintain employee handbook, leave policy, attendance policy, code of conduct, and other HR policies.
- Coordinate with admin/security teams for ID cards, access, uniforms, housekeeping, and workplace requirements.
Exit Formalities
- Conduct exit formalities for resigned or terminated employees.
- Ensure full and final settlement inputs are shared with accounts on time.
- Collect company assets, ID cards, documents, and pending handovers.
- Maintain exit interview records and feedback.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 7–10 years of HR experience, preferably in textile, garment, manufacturing, export house, or factory setup.
- Strong understanding of recruitment, payroll coordination, attendance, labour laws, and factory HR processes.
- Experience in handling both staff and worker-level employees.
- Knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, gratuity, labour compliance, and HR documentation is required.
- Experience in buyer audits, social compliance, or SEDEX-related documentation will be preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be firm, practical, disciplined, and fair in handling employee matters.
- Should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
- Strong Excel and record-keeping skills are required.
- Should be able to work independently and report regularly to management.

Working Nature
This is a hands-on HR role involving daily interaction with management, department heads, office staff, supervisors, workers, consultants, and auditors. The candidate should be mature, responsible, and capable of managing HR operations independently in a manufacturing setup.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
