Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Sales Engineer to support our sales operations by engaging with customers, promoting technical products, and driving business growth in the dairy and food processing equipment sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for direct customer interaction, business development, quotation preparation, and supporting the sales team in achieving organisational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in direct selling through customer visits, product demonstrations, and technical discussions
- Understand and explain product features to customers effectively
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities
- Handle customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
- Prepare quotations and follow up on orders and enquiries
- Maintain customer records and sales data
- Collect and record customer feedback after delivery
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly sales reports
- Prepare Gantt charts and track sales activities
- Conduct market research and share competitive insights
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution
- Support exhibitions and promotional activities as required
- Perform any other sales-related tasks assigned by management
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech preferred) or relevant technical background
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and digital platforms is an advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings
- Ability to understand technical products and industrial applications

Salary

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
