Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Engineer – Civil to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of quality control procedures and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct material inspections and verify test reports.
- Perform site quality inspections and prepare inspection reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding quality-related issues.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain quality documentation, checklists, and records.
- Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in project handover by ensuring all quality requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in quality control for building construction projects.
- Sound knowledge of construction materials, quality standards, and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
