The Ayurveda Therapist is responsible for performing Ayurvedic treatments and therapies as prescribed by the Ayurvedic doctor, ensuring patient comfort, hygiene, and adherence to traditional Ayurvedic treatment protocols.
- Perform Ayurvedic therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Kizhi, and other prescribed treatments.
- Prepare therapy rooms and treatment materials before each session.
- Follow treatment plans and instructions given by the Ayurvedic physician.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during treatments.
- Assist patients before and after therapy sessions.
- Provide basic guidance on post-therapy care as instructed by the doctor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of therapy rooms, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure proper sterilization and handling of oils, herbs, and therapy equipment.
- Follow health and safety protocols of the facility.
- Maintain therapy records and treatment logs.
- Report patient feedback or any unusual conditions to the doctor or clinical manager.
- Assist in preparing herbal oils and therapy materials when required.
- Support the Ayurvedic department in maintaining inventory of therapy supplies.
- Certificate or Diploma in Ayurveda Therapy from a recognized institute.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as an Ayurveda Therapist (preferred).
- Freshers with proper certification may also apply.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic treatment techniques and therapies.
