CUTLIST MAKER / PRODUCTION PLANNING EXECUTIVE – MODULAR INTERIOR PRODUCTION

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Cutlist Maker / Production Planning Executive to join our modular interior production facility in Sulur, Coimbatore.
The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cutlists, production drawings, and material requirements for modular interior projects. The role requires close coordination with the Design, CNC, Beam Saw, Edge Banding, Production, and Installation teams to ensure smooth and error-free production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare accurate cutlists for modular interior projects.
- Convert approved 2D drawings and designs into production-ready cutlists.
- Prepare panel-wise cutting details for plywood, MDF, HDF, and other interior materials.
- Specify panel dimensions, quantities, thickness, material, edge banding, and machining requirements.
- Prepare production sheets and material requirement details.
- Coordinate with the Design Team to clarify drawings, dimensions, and design discrepancies.
- Coordinate with CNC and Beam Saw operators for production requirements.
- Verify dimensions, quantities, and specifications before releasing cutlists for production.
- Identify drawing, measurement, or design errors before production starts.
- Optimize cutting requirements to minimize material wastage.
- Make revisions to cutlists based on approved design changes.
- Coordinate with the Production Team to ensure smooth manufacturing workflow.
- Maintain proper records of cutlists, production drawings, revisions, and material requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–5+ years of experience in cutlist preparation, modular interiors, modular furniture production, or interior manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of modular kitchens, wardrobes, cabinets, storage units, and other interior components.
- Good understanding of plywood, MDF, HDF, laminates, edge banding, and furniture hardware.
- Ability to read and understand 2D interior drawings.
- Strong understanding of furniture dimensions, construction methods, and modular interior production.
- Good knowledge of CNC and Beam Saw production processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify production errors before manufacturing.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work under production deadlines.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
- Working knowledge of Infurnia software.
- Experience preparing furniture designs or production drawings using Infurnia.
- AutoCAD / 2D drawing knowledge.
- Experience with CNC production and nesting software.
- Knowledge of modular interior hardware and fittings.
- Experience working with interior production or modular interior manufacturing companies.
