We are looking for a skilled Android App Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in building high-quality mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing Android apps with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Android applications using modern frameworks and best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and product managers
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Debug and resolve performance issues, bugs, and crashes
- Ensure application security, performance, and responsiveness
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
- Stay updated with the latest Android development trends and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Android app development
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Knowledge of performance optimization and memory management
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and material design guidelines
Good to Have
- Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and real-time databases
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with offline storage, caching, and synchronization
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso)
- Exposure to publishing apps on the Google Play Store
Work Environment
- Fully remote role with flexible working hours
- Candidates based in or near Pune, India preferred for occasional collaboration if required
