Job Title: Retail Merchant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Retail Merchant to manage product assortment, stock levels, and in-store presentation to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across assigned stores
- Ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid out-of-stock situations
- Analyze sales data and customer buying patterns to forecast demand
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and store teams for product availability
- Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards as per company guidelines
- Set up attractive product displays and ensure proper product placement
- Track product performance (fast-moving and slow-moving items)
- Prepare regular reports on sales, stock movement, and market trends
- Support promotional activities and seasonal merchandising plans
- Ensure compliance with planograms and brand guidelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field (preferred: Business, Marketing, Retail Management)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or store operations
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
