Key responsibilities :
- Run order-feasibility checks (material + cylinder + capacity) before committing delivery dates; own the promise and drive OTIF.
- Build the master/rolling schedule across blown film, gravure & flexo printing, lamination, slitting, pouching and sleeve lines; sequence jobs to cut changeovers and schedule lamination curing time before slitting/pouching.
- Gravure cylinders: check existing-cylinder availability (re-use vs. new), coordinate with external cylinder suppliers/engravers, and build engraving & proofing lead times into delivery dates. (AVS sources cylinders externally.)
- RM planning: run MRP, raise indents with lead time, and plan around Ghana import/bonded-clearance timelines; control inventory days and stock-outs.
- Issue job cards, track WIP, coordinate with Production/QA/Maintenance/Stores/Procurement/Dispatch; run S&OP; MIS reporting on KPIs; lead the PPC team.
Requirements :
- B.Sc (Mathematics/Science) or Diploma/B.E./B.Tech (Printing Tech, Packaging, Polymer, Mechanical or Production).
- 10–15 yrs in flexible packaging, incl. 4+ yrs leading PPC/planning; good working knowledge of gravure cylinders and external engraving lead times; ERP (SAP PP or equivalent) + strong Excel/MIS.
- Ability to handle multiple customer orders and changing priorities; strong coordination, follow-up and problem-solving.
- Willing to relocate to Tema, Ghana on an expat contract
The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:
- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
- Employment Type: Permanent Role.
- Job Location: Tema, Ghana, Africa.
- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
