Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager with a minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales, business development, or team management. The candidate will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team, driving business growth, generating revenue opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of organizational targets. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and sales management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support the sales team in achieving daily and monthly targets
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, guidance, and feedback
- Assist team members in handling customer queries and resolving escalations
- Ensure effective lead generation, follow-up, and conversion activities
- Track and analyze team productivity and sales performance metrics
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams for smooth policy processing
- Maintain accurate records and prepare performance reports
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and lead conversion rates
- Build and maintain strong customer and team relationships
- Ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance sales, business development, sales management, or team handling
- Prior experience managing, supervising, or leading a sales team is mandatory
- Proven ability to motivate team members and drive performance to achieve targets
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle customer escalations and support team members in closing sales
- Basic knowledge of health insurance products and sales processes
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluency in Malayalam and English (Hindi is an added advantage)
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
