We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about social media content and visual creativity. You will work closely with our content, marketing, and design teams to create high-quality video content and eye-catching thumbnails for various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos.
- Create short-form videos for Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Design video thumbnails using Photoshop, Canva, or similar tools.
- Add text overlays, transitions, and sound effects.
- Resize and repurpose content for different aspect ratios and formats.
- Coordinate with the creative team to brainstorm ideas and maintain brand consistency.
- Support video shoots when required (optional).
- Stay updated with video editing trends, effects, and platform-specific best practices.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Capcut, Filmora.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva for creating thumbnails and basic graphics.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to turn ideas into compelling content.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with After Effects or similar tools for motion graphics.
- Basic knowledge of color grading and audio mixing.
- Understanding of social media content trends and algorithm-friendly formats.
- Basic filming or camera-handling skills.
