Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to manage all store operations related to raw materials, consumables, finished goods, and inventory control. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely material issuance, and supporting smooth production activities.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of materials for production.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Prevent inventory shortages, excess stock, and material wastage.
Material Receipt & Dispatch
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate dispatch activities and maintain dispatch records.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain stock registers, GRNs, issue slips, and inventory reports.
- Update inventory records in ERP/software or Excel on a daily basis.
- Prepare monthly stock reports and submit them to management.
Store Operations
- Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the store area.
- Implement FIFO (First In First Out) and inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of materials.
Team Management
- Supervise store assistants and workers.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Maintain discipline and efficiency within the store department.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Experience in handling footwear raw materials such as PU, PVC, fabrics, chemicals, soles, uppers, accessories, and packing materials.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and inventory software/ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- Additional certification in Inventory or Store Management will be an advantage.
