Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Producer to support the news writing, production of daily news bulletins and special programming. The ideal candidate should have strong news judgment, excellent English writing skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Producers and Senior Producers in planning and executing daily news bulletins.
- Research, write, and edit news scripts, headlines, and anchor cues.
- Coordinate with reporters, assignment desk, graphics, PCR, and editorial teams.
- Monitor news wires, social media, and competing news channels for breaking developments.
- Prepare story briefs, background notes, and fact-check content before broadcast.
- Assist in rundown preparation and bulletin management.
- Ensure timely updates of breaking news and developing stories.
- Support special coverage, debates, interviews, and election programming.
- Maintain editorial accuracy and adherence to channel guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
