Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Create and update 2D and 3D technical drawings as per design requirements.
- Perform reverse engineering of existing components and assemblies.
- Analyze mechanical parts, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
- Generate fabrication, assembly, and production drawings.
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality departments for drawing revisions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and engineering specifications.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation.
- Support product development through part study, measurement, and technical evaluation.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and related engineering documents when required.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of engineering drawing standards and GD&T.
- Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical components.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsman Mechanical.
- ITI Draftsman Mechanical certification will be an added advantage.
- Relevant AutoCAD certification preferred.
Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in engineering drawing and drafting.
- Experience in reverse engineering and part analysis preferred.
