Job Summary :
CAPS Delivery is seeking a dynamic and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our delivery fleet operations. The role involves supervising delivery riders/drivers, ensuring vehicle readiness, optimizing routes, controlling fuel and maintenance costs, and maintaining compliance to ensure smooth and timely food deliveries.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day fleet operations for food delivery
Supervise and monitor delivery riders/drivers performance
Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and operational at all times
Track fuel usage and control operational expenses
Monitor GPS tracking and improve route efficiency
Maintain vehicle documentation (Insurance, RC, Permits, PUC, etc.)
Ensure timely resolution of vehicle breakdowns and emergencies
Handle accident reports and manage insurance claims
Coordinate with operations team to ensure timely order deliveries
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly fleet performance reports
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
On-time delivery rate
Fleet uptime percentage
Fuel cost optimization
Vehicle maintenance cost control
Rider/driver productivity
Required Skills & Qualifications :
3–5 years of experience in fleet/logistics/delivery operations
Strong team handling experience (riders/drivers)
Knowledge of transport compliance and local RTO regulations
Cost management and budgeting skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in Excel and fleet tracking systems
Preferred Experience :
Experience in food delivery / e-commerce / logistics company
Ability to manage high-volume delivery operations.
