Job Description
Job Title: Solution Lead – Data and Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Lead stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into analytics solutions, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Review, validate, and provide guidance on data and analytics architecture diagrams, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Design and implement scalable Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions, including data models, semantic layers for AI readiness, and reporting frameworks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, enabling data-driven decision-making through actionable insights and modern analytics solutions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex data, reporting, and infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and integration failures.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and data scientists to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions, including dashboards, predictive models, and operational insights.
- Define and enforce best practices for data governance, data quality, and BI development standards.
- Support development and evolution of enterprise data architecture, including cloud-based analytics platforms and data warehouse solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in analytics delivery by identifying optimization opportunities in data pipelines, reporting performance, and system scalability.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership across analytics initiatives.
- Assist with documentation including architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational runbooks.
- Provide off-hours support as needed for critical production issues.
- Reporting to IT / Data & Analytics leadership and aligning with regional and global teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or data architecture roles.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong experience reviewing and designing data architecture, including data warehouses, ETL pipelines, and BI platforms.
- Expertise in SQL and strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Business Objects.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across data pipelines, BI reports, and infrastructure.
Advanced experience with:
o Data architecture design and review
o BI solution development and performance optimization
o Data governance, data quality, and semantic modeling
o Enterprise analytics platforms and reporting tools
Preferred experience with:
o AI-enabled analytics and modern insight delivery (e.g., conversational analytics, automated insights)
o API integrations and data services
o Agile delivery methodologies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Ability to lead initiatives, mentor teams, and influence cross-functional stakeholders. Experience working in Commercial or Supply Chain Function
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Documentation skills using tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Excel.
