Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Coordinate with practice heads to understand hiring needs
- Draft job descriptions and manage job postings on platforms like Naukri, LinkedIn, Bar and Bench, etc.
- Conduct candidate screening, interviews, and reference checks
- Liaise with recruitment consultants and law school placement cells
2. Onboarding & Induction
- Plan and conduct induction programmes for new hires
- Ensure smooth onboarding including documentation, laptop and mobile phone issuance and workspace setup
- Coordinate with IT/admin for infrastructure and access
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and feedback
- Facilitate a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Organise employee engagement initiatives, cultural events, and team offsites
- Conduct of Psychometric Tests, as and when required
4. Performance Management
- Manage the annual and mid-year appraisal process
- Work with partners and team leaders to identify training needs and career progression paths
- Track KPIs and maintain performance documentation
5. Learning & Development
- Plan training workshops, legal seminars, and soft skills development sessions
- Coordinate with external trainers and internal subject matter experts
- Maintain records of learning hours for compliance and growth tracking
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain records in line with compliance standards
- Prepare HR reports for Partners’ review
- Ensure all policies and procedures comply with Indian laws
- Draft and periodically update the internal policies
7. Payroll & Benefits Administration
- Liaise with the accounts team or external payroll vendor for monthly salary processing
- Administer leaves, attendance, and holiday records
- Oversee benefits such as health insurance, bonuses, and reimbursements, at the Partners’ directions
8. Culture & DEI Initiatives
- Promote firm values and inclusive workplace culture
- Support gender diversity and inclusion policies
- Handle sensitive HR matters with confidentiality and empathy
9. Admin Related Matters
· Handling/overseeing day-to-day office operations, to the extent relevant
· Maintaining a clean, organized, and functional office space
· Assist in ISO 9001 and Great Place to Work certifications
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of Indian labour laws and HR compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Experience with HR software, ZOHO, Microsoft Office tools, and Practice Management Tools
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independently
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
