About the Role
Are you a passionate communicator who loves guiding students and professionals toward their dream careers? SMEClabs is looking for a dynamic Career Counsellor to join our team.
In this role, you will be the bridge between aspiring learners and their future career success. Your primary focus will be telecalling and counselling, understanding the goals of prospective students, and guiding them toward the right training programs at SMEClabs.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Telecalling: Reach out to prospective students, leads, and inquiries to introduce SMEClabs’ programs.
- Career Counselling: Understand students' educational backgrounds, career goals, and skill gaps to recommend the most suitable courses.
- Lead Conversion: Guide prospects through the enrollment funnel and achieve monthly admission targets.
- Relationship Building: Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and provide excellent student support throughout the admission process.
- Database Management: Keep accurate, up-to-date records of all student interactions and lead statuses in the CRM.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of proven experience in telecalling, inside sales, or academic counselling (EdTech or training institute experience is a huge plus).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convince and inspire confidence.
- Listening Skills: An empathetic listener who can understand a student's needs and map them to the right career path.
- Drive: A target-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
