Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical commissioning activities from pre-commissioning through final system acceptance.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and testing protocols.
- Perform startup, functional testing, troubleshooting, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
- Commission and verify electrical systems including:
- Switchgear
- UPS Systems
- Generators
- ATS
- Transformers
- PDUs
- EPMS/BMS
- MV/LV Distribution Equipment
- Review electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate with owners, contractors, consulting engineers, vendors, and project teams.
- Identify deficiencies and oversee corrective actions.
- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, punch lists, and project closeout documentation.
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, NETA, IEEE, and client-specific standards.
- Support energization planning and system turnover.
- Provide technical guidance to junior commissioning engineers and field personnel.
- Travel extensively throughout North America to support project execution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Electrical Apprenticeship preferred)
- Licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician (preferred)
- Minimum 10+ years of electrical experience
- Minimum 5+ years of electrical commissioning experience
- Strong mission-critical/data center commissioning experience
- Extensive experience with:
- Electrical startup
- Functional testing
- Troubleshooting
- Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
- Electrical commissioning documentation
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong knowledge of:
- NEC
- NFPA 70E
- NETA Testing Standards
- IEEE Standards
- Ability to travel up to 80–100%

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹185,000.00 per year
