Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability of mining and transportation operations.
- Ensure accurate accounting of revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
- Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with government regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Cost Control & Analysis
- Monitor mining and transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and manpower expenses.
- Conduct cost analysis and recommend measures for cost optimization.
- Prepare project-wise and vehicle-wise profitability reports.
- Accounts & Audit
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
- Manage internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation.
- Inventory & Asset Management
- Monitor inventory of diesel, lubricants, spare parts, and mining materials.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation records.
- Verify physical assets and stock periodically.
- Vendor & Contract Management
- Review vendor payments and contract agreements.
- Monitor receivables and payables.
- Ensure proper financial controls in procurement and transportation contracts.
- Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Present financial insights and recommendations to management.
- Support strategic decision-making through financial analysis.
