- Reactor Operation: Safely operate and monitor Glass Lined Reactors (GLR) and Stainless Steel Reactors (SSR) as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Unit Operations: Perform core chemical plant operations including material charging, distillation, filtration, centrifugation, and drying processes.
- Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, vacuum, and pH levels, ensuring they stay within specified limits.
- Safety & PPE Compliance: Strictly adhere to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines. Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like masks, gloves, and safety goggles while handling hazardous chemicals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, real-time records in Batch Production Records (BPR/BPC), equipment logbooks, and shift handovers with zero errors.
- Housekeeping & Line Clearance: Maintain clean work areas and ensure proper line clearance is taken before starting new batches to avoid cross-contamination.
- Education: ITI - AOCP (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant), ITI - LACP, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, or B.Sc. (Chemistry).
- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in an API or Intermediate manufacturing plant.
- Equipment Knowledge: Practical experience operating equipment like Centrifuges, Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryers (ANFD), Rotary Vacuum Paddle Dryers (RCVD/RVPD), and Fluid Bed Dryers (FBD).
- Skills: Strong understanding of solvent handling, hazardous chemical safety, and basic troubleshooting of plant utilities.
