Key Responsibilities
- Stone Inspection: Evaluate diamonds for carat, cut, color, and clarity using specialized tools like loupes and gemological microscopes.
- Quality & Finish Check: Inspect jewelry settings, prongs, polishing, and overall finishing to ensure they are free from damage or defects.
- Documentation: Record quality issues, update defect registers, and prepare daily reports for factory management.
- Process Improvement: Recommend corrective actions and collaborate with production teams to prevent recurring flaws.
- Inventory & Returns: Verify specifications for incoming raw materials, customer returns, or old gold exchanges. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Typically \(1\) to \(3\) years of experience in jewelry manufacturing or diamond grading.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the 4Cs (Carat, Cut, Clarity, Color) and jewelry production processes.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and computer proficiency for reporting.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
