About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Web Developer to work with us as an Independent Contractor on an ongoing, as-required basis.
We have several businesses and websites. Some of our websites use WordPress, and we also have a custom Learning Management System (LMS).
We also plan to develop new WooCommerce Shopify websites.
We need someone who can maintain our existing websites, make changes when required, fix problems, and help us develop and launch new websites.
This is not a full-time job. Work will be given as required and paid on an hourly basis.
Main Responsibilities
The work may include:
- Maintain and update our existing websites.
- Update website text, images, videos, pages, menus and forms.
- Create new pages and make website design changes.
- Build new websites using WordPress.
- Build and manage WooCommerce websites.
- Set up products, categories, payments and other WooCommerce features.
- Build new Shopify websites.
- Help us select and purchase suitable Shopify themes.
- Install and customise Shopify themes to suit our business requirements.
- Set up products, collections, pages, menus, payment options and other Shopify features.
- Make websites responsive for desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.
- Install and update WordPress plugins.
- Fix website errors and technical problems.
- Handle website migration when required.
- Assist with hosting, domains, SSL certificates and backups.
- Maintain and update our LMS.
- Make changes or improvements to the LMS when required.
- Assist with LMS migration and deployment.
- Work with existing source code and databases where required.
- Assist with APIs and third-party integrations.
The person should be comfortable working with different websites and platforms, as the work will not be limited to one website or one business.

Payment & Working Arrangement
Work will be given on an as-required basis.
Hourly Rate: ₹400–₹600 per hour, depending on skills and capability.
This is a fully remote / work-from-home Independent Contractor position.
There is no guaranteed minimum number of hours. The amount of work will depend on our requirements.
Meetings will normally be held online through Google Meet. An in-person meeting may occasionally be required if necessary and mutually arranged.
A short paid trial assignment may be given before regular work is offered.
