Role & responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of engineering, construction, mechanical, electrical, piping, painting, and tools and consumables.
- Receive and analyze purchase requisitions (PRs) from projects ,engineering and store teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop approved vendors for project and plant requirements.
- Float RFQs, perform techno-commercial comparisons, and prepare comparative statements (CS).
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and finalize best-value procurement.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in line with approved budgets and specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors for order acknowledgements, dispatch schedules, and timely deliveries.
- Liaise with project, planning, QA/QC, stores, and accounts for smooth procurement execution.
- Monitor material status, expediting, and follow-ups to avoid project delays.
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and contractual terms.
- Maintain procurement MIS, vendor records, rate contracts, and documentation.
- Support cost optimization, alternate sourcing, and value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and ethical standards.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering or Graduate.
- 0-2 years of experience in purchase/procurement within Engineering, EPC, or Construction companies or Fresher with relevant Education background.
- Strong exposure to procurement of project materials (structural steel, pipes, fittings, valves, equipment, paints, fasteners, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in vendor negotiation, PO finalization, and delivery follow-up.
- Good understanding of technical specifications and drawings.
- Proficient in MS Excel (comparative statements, MIS), ERP/SAP (if applicable).
- Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and urgent requirements.
- Detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and process-driven.
- Candidate should be based in or willing to work from Ahmedabad office.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
