- Wind Coils: Shape and wind copper or aluminum wire by hand.
- Insert Insulation: Place proper slot insulation, paper, and wedges to prevent electrical shorts.
- Connect Leads: Solder, braze, or crimp leads and check for correct phase polarity.
- Varnish and Bake: Dip or apply epoxy/varnish resins and cure windings for stability.
- Test Performance: Perform surge, resistance, and high-potential (hipot) electrical tests.
