Job Summary
Baked is looking for hardworking and reliable Kitchen Helpers to support daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, support the kitchen team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in accordance with company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Operations
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and production.
- Wash, peel, cut, and prepare ingredients as instructed.
- Arrange and store ingredients, supplies, and kitchen equipment properly.
- Assist in packing and plating food items as required.
- Support the team during busy service hours.
Cleaning & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas.
- Wash dishes, trays, and kitchen tools.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen organized.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in deep cleaning activities as scheduled.
Inventory Support
- Receive and organize stock deliveries.
- Store ingredients according to company guidelines.
- Report low stock levels or damaged items to supervisors.
- Assist in stock rotation and inventory management.
Health & Safety
- Follow all safety procedures and kitchen regulations.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain personal hygiene and proper uniform standards.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements
- High school qualification preferred.
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
