We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with deep technical expertise to design, build, and maintain our core backend systems. In this role, you will write clean, scalable code, optimize application performance, and lead the architectural decisions for our Python-based services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend applications and APIs using Python.
- Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and efficient code adhering to PEP 8 standards. Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization.
- Data Integration: Integrate data storage solutions, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and key-value stores.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
- Testing & Deployment: Implement automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end tests) and support CI/CD pipeline deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a heavy focus on Python.
- Frameworks: Expert knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Database Management: Strong proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (e.g., SQLAlchemy, Django ORM). Experience with NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) is a plus.
- System Design: Proven experience in designing microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and handling asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery).
- Tools: Proficient with Git, Docker, and modern CI/CD tools.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
