Position: Project Manager – Civil

Role Summary
The Project Manager – Civil is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion of civil construction projects while ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, budget, and project timelines. The role involves managing site operations, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Planning & Execution
- Lead and manage end-to-end execution of civil construction projects.
- Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and milestones.
- Ensure completion of projects within the stipulated time, budget, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and site execution teams.
Site Management
- Supervise daily construction activities and monitor site productivity.
- Ensure proper deployment of manpower, machinery, and construction materials.
- Resolve technical and operational issues affecting project progress.
- Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure contractual compliance.
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and government authorities.
- Attend project review meetings and present project progress reports.
- Address client concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals from statutory authorities.
Planning & Monitoring
- Review project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Track project milestones and identify delays.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to achieve project targets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor project budgets and control construction costs.
- Review BOQs, contractor bills, and material consumption.
- Track project profitability and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Manage variations, extra items, and change orders.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Implement QA/QC procedures at the project site.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits.
- Minimize rework through effective quality control.
Safety Management
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and statutory safety regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
- Promote a safe working environment with zero lost-time incidents.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation, contracts, drawings, and reports.
- Prepare project status reports for management.
- Ensure timely submission of billing, DPRs, MIS reports, and completion documentation.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- M.Tech in Construction Management (Preferred)
Experience
- 10–15 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager role.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
