Job Purpose
The Clinical Excellence Lead is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of safe, ethical, high-quality clinical services across Oppam Wellness. The role oversees clinical governance, quality assurance, risk management, and adherence to organisational standards, ensuring that clinical practice reflects best practices and established protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Governance & Quality
- Monitor the quality and consistency of clinical services across the organisation.
- Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation, case records, and service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to clinical SOPs, ethical guidelines, documentation standards, and organisational policies.
- Monitor key clinical quality indicators and recommend corrective actions where required.
Risk Management
- Identify, document, and monitor clinical risks and incidents.
- Support incident reviews and implementation of preventive measures.
- Promote a culture of client safety and ethical practice.
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, professional, and organisational standards.
- Support accreditation, quality assurance, and governance initiatives.
- Monitor implementation of new policies and clinical protocols.
Continuous Quality Improvement
- Analyse audit findings and quality data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with the Clinical Development Lead to strengthen clinical systems where recurring issues are identified.
- Prepare weekly quality reports for leadership.
Qualifications
Essential
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology.
Preferred
- M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology / RCI Registration.
- Experience in mental healthcare quality, governance, or clinical operations.
