Role Overview
The IT Development Lead / Scrum Master is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the workload of IT developers to ensure the timely delivery of software applications, enhancements, and digital solutions. The role facilitates Agile development practices, manages sprint activities, prioritizes development tasks, and ensures effective collaboration between developers, business stakeholders, product owners, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, prioritize, and allocate development tasks across IT development teams.

Manage sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Coordinate software development activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Monitor team workload, resource capacity, and project delivery timelines.

Ensure timely development, testing, and deployment of applications and enhancements.

Track progress, risks, dependencies, and development KPIs.

Remove blockers and support developers in resolving technical and process issues.

Collaborate with business users, product owners, architects, QA, and infrastructure teams.

Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and high-performance teamwork.

Ensure development deliverables meet quality, security, and business requirements.

Provide project status reports and delivery updates to management.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent) preferred.

Experience working with IT development teams in an Agile environment.
