Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at EVD Technology, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the company's growth and success. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue and expand our client base. Your primary responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, industries, and trends.
- Analyze market conditions and competitor strategies to develop a targeted approach.
2. Lead Generation:
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, online research, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads to ensure they align with our target customer profile.
3. Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing information about our services and solutions.
4. Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with the technical team to create customized proposals and solutions that address client needs.
- Present proposals to clients and handle negotiations effectively.
5. Sales Strategy:
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Set sales targets and work towards achieving or exceeding them.
6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create marketing materials, campaigns, and strategies that support your sales efforts.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure the successful delivery of projects to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar role within the software industry.
- Strong understanding of software solutions, development methodologies, and industry trends.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
