BuildUP India is a growing infrastructure execution company specializing in elevator shaft construction, civil and electrical readiness work, project coordination, and site execution.
As we scale our operations, we are working to standardize our processes, strengthen our ERP-based systems, and create better visibility across projects, manpower, materials, purchases, and site activities.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
We are looking for an Operations Support Intern who is interested in understanding how a growing business operates at the ground level and helping convert day-to-day activities into structured, trackable, and scalable systems.
The intern will work closely with the founders and operations team on documentation, ERP data management, Excel-based analysis, purchase and material tracking, reporting, and process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and organize project, site, manpower, material, purchase, and work-progress data.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders, operational records, reports, trackers, comparisons, and other documents.
- Enter, update, and manage operational information on BuildUP India’s ERP system.
- Create useful Excel trackers, reports, summaries, and management views.
- Compare vendor quotations, material prices, bills, and purchase information.
- Track people, materials, site activities, work completion, pending actions, and feedback.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure that information is received, recorded, and updated accurately.
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures and operational workflows.
- Identify gaps in existing processes and suggest practical improvements.
- Help translate ground-level site activities into structured ERP processes, trackers, and reporting systems.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Students or recent graduates from Engineering, Management, Commerce, Operations, Data, Supply Chain, or related disciplines may apply.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Discipline and ownership in completing assigned work.
- Willingness to learn ERP and other digital systems.
- Curiosity about business operations and process improvement.
- A proactive and problem-solving approach.
- Ability to coordinate remotely and provide timely updates.
ONBOARDING AND SITE EXPOSURE
The selected intern will receive training on BuildUP India’s operations, ERP system, documentation standards, and working methodology.
The intern will be required to spend at least one week in Delhi during the initial onboarding period. During this period, the intern may accompany our team on project-site visits to understand civil, electrical, elevator shaft, material, manpower, and execution processes.
Local conveyance for official site visits during the onboarding period will be reimbursed by BuildUP India. Travel expenses to and from Delhi will need to be managed by the intern.
TRIAL AND PERFORMANCE REVIEW
The first 15 days will be considered a trial and evaluation period. The intern will be assessed on communication, responsiveness, learning ability, ownership, analytical thinking, and accuracy.
If the engagement is discontinued during or at the end of the trial period based on suitability, a consolidated amount of ₹2,000 will be paid for the trial period. Upon successful completion, the internship will continue at the agreed stipend of ₹5,000 per month.
Performance will be reviewed after two months. Based on the intern’s contribution, quality of work, ownership, and process-improvement initiatives, the stipend may be revised.
