Role Overview
As a Business Development Associate at Lumous, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, generating leads, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. You will act as the first point of contact for businesses looking to adopt AI solutions and help them understand how Lumous can transform their operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients across various industries.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Schedule discovery calls and meetings with decision-makers.
- Understand client pain points and present tailored AI and automation solutions.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and follow-up communications.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure smooth client onboarding.
- Negotiate pricing and close deals while maintaining long-term relationships.
- Meet monthly sales targets and contribute to company growth strategies.
- Stay updated on AI trends, automation technologies, and industry developments.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Confidence in cold outreach and client interactions.
- Basic understanding of AI, automation, SaaS, or technology solutions (training will be provided).
- Ability to research businesses and identify opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- Experience with CRM tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition.
