Role Overview
As a Technical Writer, you will own and maintain product documentation across QuickSync platforms. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and Customer Success to deeply understand features and convert technical workflows into easy-to-understand documentation.You will be responsible for ensuring that every feature, enhancement, process, and system update is documented clearly and consistently.
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Documentation
- Create, maintain, and update:
- User manuals
- Feature documentation
- Product guides
- Help-center articles
- Knowledge base content
- FAQs
- SOPs and workflow documents
- Implementation and onboarding documentation
Feature Documentation
- Work with Product and Engineering teams to understand new features and product updates.
- Document feature functionality, workflows, configurations, dependencies, and use cases.
- Convert technical concepts into simple, customer-friendly language.
Release & Change Documentation
- Prepare release notes for product updates and new feature launches.
- Maintain version-controlled documentation for product enhancements and bug fixes.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with:
- Product Managers for feature understanding
- Developers for technical accuracy
- QA teams for workflow validation
- Customer Success teams to identify recurring user questions and documentation gaps
- Implementation teams for process documentation
Internal Knowledge Management
- Build and maintain internal documentation repositories.
- Standardize templates for documentation across teams.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, style, and structure.
Content Quality & Usability
- Simplify technical concepts without losing accuracy.
- Use visuals, workflows, screenshots, diagrams, and examples to improve understanding.
- Continuously improve documentation based on user feedback and product evolution.
Required Skills & QualificationsMust Have
- 2–5 years of experience in Technical Writing, preferably in a SaaS or software product environment
- Excellent written English and documentation skills
- Ability to understand technical product workflows and convert them into user-friendly content
- Experience creating:
- Product documentation
- Knowledge base articles
- User manuals
- Release notes
- SOPs
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and gather information independently
Good to Have
- Experience documenting SaaS, ERP, Healthcare Tech, HRMS, or workflow platforms
- Familiarity with API documentation basics
- Experience with tools like:
- Confluence
- Notion
- ClickUp
- Jira
- Document360
- Help-center/knowledge-base platforms
- Understanding of product lifecycle and software development workflows
- Experience creating visual documentation (screenshots, process maps, flow diagrams)
Pay: ₹400.00 - ₹700.00 per hour
