Job Summary
The Marketing Executive in the food processing industry is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the company’s food products, strengthen brand awareness, increase sales, and expand market presence. The role involves market research, customer relationship management, promotional activities, coordination with distributors and retailers, and supporting product launches.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns for food products.
- Promote company brands through online and offline channels.
- Coordinate advertising, promotional events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Assist in creating brochures, packaging content, social media content, and product catalogs.
Market Research
- Conduct market analysis to identify customer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities.
- Gather feedback from distributors, retailers, and consumers to improve products and marketing strategies.
- Monitor market pricing and demand trends.
Sales Support
- Support the sales team in achieving sales targets.
- Develop relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers.
- Prepare sales presentations and promotional materials.
- Assist in launching new food products into the market.
Digital Marketing
- Manage social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Coordinate email marketing and online promotions.
- Track digital marketing performance and prepare reports.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and clients.
- Handle customer inquiries and coordinate with internal departments for timely resolution.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports.
- Maintain records of campaigns, sales data, and customer interactions.
- Monitor marketing budgets and expenses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Food Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the food processing or FMCG industry.
- Freshers with strong communication and marketing skills may also apply.
