Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations & WMS
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Warehouse Operations & WMS to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, manage dispatch activities, and drive process excellence through Warehouse Management System (WMS). The role requires strong operational leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to improve warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
- Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to operational KPIs.
- Plan manpower and maintain warehouse discipline and housekeeping.
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Execute and monitor warehouse transactions through WMS.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and real-time system updates.
- Coordinate with the WMS support team for issue resolution and process improvements.
Inventory & Dispatch
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock audits.
- Monitor stock movement, barcode accuracy, and SKU management.
- Coordinate with courier partners to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.
Team & Process Management
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff.
- Develop and implement SOPs and continuous process improvements.
- Train team members and promote a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare operational MIS reports and monitor warehouse KPIs.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Any bachelor’s degree
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience with WMS, inventory management, and team handling is preferred.
- Exposure to E-commerce, Publishing, Retail, FMCG, or Distribution warehouses is an advantage.

Success Profile

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per month
