Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our team in Baner, Pune. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure and healthcare-related construction projects. You will work closely with the project, procurement, and design teams to ensure cost-effective solutions and timely delivery of tenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) as per project drawings and specifications.
- Conduct rate analysis for civil, MEP, and finishing works.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Prepare and submit tender documents including commercial and technical proposals.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal teams for design and scope clarification.
- Maintain updated cost databases and analyze project costing for budgeting purposes.
- Participate in pre-bid and post-bid discussions with clients and vendors.
- Identify and manage risks related to estimates and pricing.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cost estimation and tendering for infrastructure/healthcare construction projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, etc.)
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing trends.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Pay: From ₹55,000.00 per month
