Job Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining product quality standards, and driving sales performance. This role is responsible for leading and developing the store team, managing inventory, ensuring compliance with company policies, and creating a positive customer experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Assist in managing day-to-day store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Monitor store cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and presentation standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Support store opening and closing activities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, motivate, and support baristas, shift supervisors, and store staff.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions to improve employee performance and customer service skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure customers receive outstanding service and a welcoming café experience.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Promote customer loyalty through engagement and relationship building.
Sales & Business Performance
- Support achievement of sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor daily sales, transactions, and store performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and promotional activities.
- Assist in implementing local marketing and customer engagement initiatives.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering of coffee beans, food items, packaging, and supplies.
- Minimize wastage and control operational costs.
- Conduct stock counts and maintain inventory records.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of products.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist in cash handling, deposits, and reconciliation processes.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain store documentation.
- Support scheduling and workforce planning to optimize labor costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in retail, café, coffee shop, or food & beverage operations.
- Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Required Skills

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
