Job Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who is also experienced in camera handling and video shoots. The ideal candidate should be capable of planning, shooting, and editing engaging video content for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, events, and branding initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Handle DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio equipment during shoots.
- Capture interviews, testimonials, events, office activities, and promotional content.
- Edit videos using professional editing software to produce engaging and polished content.
- Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, background music, and sound effects where required.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to develop creative video concepts.
- Maintain video assets, organize raw footage, and manage project files efficiently.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media formats, and creative techniques.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of camera operations, framing, composition, lighting, and audio recording.
- Hands-on experience with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and video production equipment.
- Good understanding of reels, YouTube videos, promotional films, and short-form content.
- Basic knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mass Communication, Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in video editing and videography.
- A strong portfolio showcasing both editing and shoot work is mandatory.
