Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant to manage and oversee all financial, accounting, and compliance functions for our construction & infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Statutory Compliance & Taxation Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, etc. Handle tax filings, assessments, and audits.
2. Billing & Revenue Management Oversee project billing and revenue recognition. Monitor client billing, certification, and collection processes.
3. Audit & Internal Controls Oversee/Assist internal audits and ensure strong financial controls. Coordinate with external auditors for smooth audit completion.
4. Purchase Audit -Handle service sector subcontracting purchase bill processing, including PO verification and bill checking. -Review and process subcontractor service bills by verifying purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation
5. Financial Reporting & MIS Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements. Provide insights on project-wise financial performance. Fund flow analysis & Management
6. Banking & Reconciliation Handle banking operations and ensure timely reconciliation. Monitor cash flow and working capital. Submission & NSDD/QIS/Half yearly/Yearly statement to FIS as see
7. Year-End Finalization Lead financial closing and finalization of accounts. Ensure readiness for external audit.
8. Project-wise P&L Management Analyze project-wise profitability. Support management with cost control strategies.
9. Team Management Supervise and guide the accounts team. Ensure coordination between HO and site teams.
10. Management Support Provide financial insights to Management & CFO. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of GST, Taxation & Statutory Compliance Experience in construction/project accounting Proficiency in Tally, Excel & accounting software (CPM preferred) Strong analytical and leadership skills Ability to handle multiple sites/accounts
Preferred - Construction & Infra structure or Real Estate
Preferred Qualification: CA / Inter CA / M.Com / MBA Finance
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
