About the Role:
Seven Solar Energy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Morbi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing residential, commercial, and industrial solar PV systems using industry-standard tools and a deep understanding of solar EPC workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems using software like AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and SketchUp.
- Create and update single-line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, wiring diagrams, and shadow analysis.
- Prepare accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and support costing teams in preparing proposals.
- Collaborate with the sales and project teams to customize system designs as per site conditions and customer requirements.
- Conduct remote and on-site technical site assessments.
- Ensure all system designs comply with MNRE, DISCOM, and safety standards.
- Assist project engineers during execution with technical inputs and drawing revisions.
- Maintain project documentation and design records for reference and audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in solar system design (Rooftop/Ground-mount/Hybrid).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; knowledge of PVsyst/Helioscope preferred.
- Understanding of inverter selection, load calculation, and grid integration.
- Familiarity with local DISCOM and MNRE guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
