Key Responsibilities
- System Design: Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and specifications for substations, transmission lines, and distributed energy resources.
- Analysis & Simulation: Perform complex calculations and simulations (e.g., load flow, fault analysis, and step-and-touch potential) using specialized software like ETAP, PSCAD, or CDEGS.
- Grid Integration: Synchronize renewable generation systems (solar arrays, wind turbines) with existing power grids and design energy storage solutions.
- Testing & Commissioning: Oversee the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgears, and protection relays.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all projects strictly adhere to national and international electrical safety codes, grid codes, and statutory regulations.
- Vendor & Team Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, civil/mechanical engineers, and system vendors to meet budget, timeline, and quality targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), or Power Systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting and modeling tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, EMTP, COMSOL).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV) power systems.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and logical reasoning skills to resolve complex grid and distribution challenges.
- The candidate should have proven experience working on big Energy Projects.
He will liaise with the International Team and liaise with the PMC/ Client based out in Oman.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹220,000.00 per month
