What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Alert & Account Analysis: Review and evaluate accounts and alerts flagged by Mulehunter.ai using comprehensive account, transaction, and KYC data.
- Enhanced Due Diligence: Conduct deep-dive EDD investigations by analyzing customer profiles, transaction patterns, counterparties, and financial red-flag indicators.
- Classification & Rationale: Classify alerts as Confirmed Mule, False Positive, or Requires Further Investigation, ensuring each decision is backed by a clear, well-supported rationale.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with branch networks, Fraud Risk Management (FRM), AML, and compliance teams to gather missing information or clarify findings.
- Actionable Recommendations: Recommend critical next steps, including account freezing, STR/CTR filing inputs, customer outreach, or escalation to law-enforcement liaisons.
- Continuous Feedback Loop: Provide structured, high-quality feedback to our Data Science team regarding false positives and missed cases to help continuously refine and improve model performance.
- Documentation & Audit Trails: Maintain impeccable documentation, comprehensive case notes, and clear audit trails in strict accordance with regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Law, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CAMS, CFE, or a Diploma in AML/KYC are highly preferred.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, fraud investigations, or branch operations within a bank or financial institution.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of FIU-IND AML and KYC guidelines, STR/CTR processes, and specific red-flag indicators associated with mule accounts.
- Analytical Skills: Proven ability to read, interpret, and connect the dots across bank statements, complex transaction patterns, and customer profile data.
- Mindset: Strong analytical and investigative mindset, acute attention to detail, and sound judgmental capability.
- Tools: Familiarity with modern case-management tools and alert-review workflows standard in AML/FRM systems.
- Communication: Strong written communication skills, essential for drafting clear case documentation and regulatory reporting.
What Success Looks Like
- Efficiency & Accuracy: Maintaining a track record of timely, accurate disposition of alerts, supported by pristine, well-documented EDD rationale.
- System Optimization: Directly contributing to the reduction of false-positive carry-over by delivering high-quality, actionable feedback to the modeling team.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to internal SLAs and regulatory expectations regarding alert review timelines and escalation procedures.
Pay: ₹511,174.60 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
