Job Summary
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, developing business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and achieving the company's sales targets. The role involves strategic planning, team management, and coordination with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and channel partners.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve customer issues.
- Conduct regular sales reviews, training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in Sales/Business Development.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a managerial leadership role.
- Experience in B2B/Industrial/Engineering sales is preferred.
