An Automotive Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations on the assembly or machine floor. They manage shift manpower, enforce quality control (ISO/IATF standards), ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to meet daily production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling & Control: Plan and execute shift-wise production schedules to meet customer and delivery demands.
- Manpower Management: Allocate tasks, train team members, monitor performance, and handle shift rotations and attendance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure manufactured parts and assemblies comply with engineering drawings, tolerances, and control plans. Track defects, drive root-cause analysis, and minimize scrap and rework.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules, maintain clean workspaces, and comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Equipment & Process Optimization: Monitor machine performance, track Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
Pay: ₹18,306.62 - ₹64,130.56 per month
