Responsible for managing software licenses, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate license records.
- Track software licenses (procured vs installed vs used)
- Verify license availability before fulfilling requests
- Maintain license data in CMDB / SAM tool
- Monitor license expiry, renewal, and contracts
- Identify unused or overused licenses and optimise usage
- Support software audits and compliance checks
- Work with procurement for new/renewal licenses
Responsible for tracking and managing all hardware assets across their lifecycle.
- Maintain inventory of hardware (laptops, servers, network devices)
Track asset lifecycle: procurement deployment return- disposal
- Update asset details in CMDB (owner, location, status)
- Coordinate with teams for asset allocation and recovery
- Support hardware audits and stock verification
- Ensure asset data accuracy and reconciliation
- Work with procurement and finance for asset tracking
Responsible for maintaining accurate configuration data in CMDB and ensuring data integrity.
- Maintain CMDB with correct Configuration Items (CIs)
- Ensure relationships between applications, servers, and assets are updated
- Validate CI data accuracy and completeness
- Support impact analysis for change and incident management
- Perform regular CMDB audits and reconciliation
- Define and enforce configuration standards and naming conventions
- Work with incident/change teams to keep data updated
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support, operations, or administrative role.
- Some exposure to IT asset management, software licensing, or configuration management concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management) is beneficial.
- Foundational understanding of ITIL principles, particularly Asset Management, Configuration Management, and Service Catalog.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
